Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort UAE

As part of the Firefly Point of View team, I contributed to the lighting design for the Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, a five-star property in the United Arab Emirates, collaborating with dbi design. I worked on the project as an intermediate lighting designer.

Public spaces, guestrooms and villas

The team’s work covered the resort’s public spaces and guestrooms together with ten exclusive villas.

Contemporary and traditional together

The villas blend contemporary and traditional Arab aesthetics, and the lighting was developed to serve that combination — intricate work that highlighted Arab motifs, Arabesque lanterns and sailing-inspired ceilings to create an exceptional guest experience.
