Lighting for the NextHome flagship of the John Holland Group, developed as part of a global rebranding and the consolidation of the company’s operations.
As lead lighting designer and project manager for the Flinders Gate project at WSP Australia, I played a significant role in shaping the NextHome flagship for the John Holland Group, with architecture and interiors by deciBel Architecture.
A workspace built around a new identity
The fitout formed part of a major global rebranding and consolidation of the group’s operations, so the lighting design was developed to align closely with that vision: a cohesive and innovative workspace that enhances functionality and ambience together. As the NextHome flagship, the project carries the identity of the wider programme rather than standing on its own.
Recognition
The completed project received Corporate Gold at the Melbourne Design Awards 2021, won the Build4Asia Awards 2020 for Commercial Interior Design, and was shortlisted in the World Festival of Interiors 2021.
