A sports field lighting upgrade delivering semi-professional match levels using the club’s existing poles.

I played a central role in designing the lighting upgrade for Seaford Rangers Football Club at Karingal Reserve, working at VAILO in collaboration with CME Group and the City of Onkaparinga.

200 lux on the existing poles

Twelve VAILO Zenith Gen-V LED luminaires were retrofitted to the reserve’s existing poles, achieving 200 lux — the level required for semi-professional match play. Achieving that standard through retrofit rather than re-poling the ground keeps an upgrade of this scale within reach of a community club.
